To Whom It May Concern:

I just wanted to contact you to let you know why I’ve been a loyal customer of yours for a number of years. The second time I ordered for my ink jet printer, one of the cartridges leaked ink all over the inside of the package. I contacted you and you immediately sent a replacement, free of charge. Also, you didn’t even ask me to send back the faulty cartridge.

This little gesture made me a loyal customer for life, and I’ve been singing your praises to anyone who mentions needing ink for their printer. Your prices are the best, and your customer service is what I demand and expect from anyone I do business with. So basically, you have earned my loyalty.

I live in California, but I have friends in Ohio. Yesterday we ordered a complete package for a John Kidd from Austintown, Ohio. He has an HP printer. He is one of my referrals. I’ve had others and I will continue to refer others to you.

I want you to know that I’m not writing expecting any special discounts or favors. I just want to encourage you to continue your best practices and to let you know how much that tiny gesture meant to me. Hopefully you will consider this email as my Christmas present to your business, and my gratitude for all the fine service I’ve received for many years.

Product purchased: Compatible Canon CLI-226 cyan ink cartridge with chip

Had a defective cartridge and Inkjet Star replaced, no question asked. No need for expedited shipping as the products arrive in three days anyway.
